Breathe new life into your stuff
The Otafest Charity Auction is a cornerstone event where our community collaborates to raise funds for charity. All proceeds from the items sold are donated directly to our selected charity partner for the year.
We invite submissions of unique, pop-culture-themed items, including original artwork, crafts, signed merchandise, collectibles, and other distinctive goods that you don’t want to go to waste. Your donation provides a highlight for festival attendees and is fundamental to the success of our charitable efforts.
Not sure if your items are suitable for the auction? That’s totally okay! Include them in the submission form and our team will let you know whether or not we can accept them.
Guidelines
- It's all for charityAll proceeds from the auction will go to our charity partner. There will be no monetary compensation for your item; please accept our eternal gratitude and feel great knowing that you're supporting a worthwhile cause.
- Item requirementsAll types of items are accepted provided they are in good condition, not bootleg, and are appropriate for all ages. We review all submissions before approval.
- Selling lotsCollectable material may be sold as one lot (e.g. 4 posters for $10 rather than 4 distinct lots of single posters for $2.50 each).
- Drop-offPlease bring your items to the designated drop-off point on Otafest Friday. You will be notified where this is via email in late April/early May. We will not accept any item drop-offs before Friday May 21, 2027. You'll receive an e-mail with cut-off times and location once we've accepted your lot(s).
